He is survived by: his wife Michelle Moore James; his parents, Doctor Stanford and Mary Huggins James; his children, John Franklin James, Jr. (Jack) of Union and Mary Kathryn James of Union; his siblings, Susan James Ingram of Florence, SC, William Stanford James, Jr. (Anne Marie) of Charlotte, NC and David James (Kelly) of Shallotte, NC.; his parents-in-law, Coach Billy Jack and Kathryn Easton Moore of Union, SC; his sister-in-law Shannon Moore Hill (Kevin); and his nieces, Hannah and Rebecca Hill of Greenville, SC..
