He was predeceased by: his parent Patrick Henry Ashworth; his wife Brenda Joyce Ashworth (Haley); and his sister Ida Sue Bellande. He is survived by: his parent Ila Peeples Ashworth Bennett; his children, Pat Ashworth of West Union, SC, Tim Ashworth of Carnesville, Kelly Ashworth of Canon and Mitzi Hawkins of Anderson, SC; his grandchildren, Lori Malpass, Chad Popham, Brennan Ashworth, Briana Ashworth, Grace Ashworth, Noel Ashworth, Mercy Ashworth, Caleb Ashworth, Chase Hawkins and Alex Hawkins; and his siblings, Carrie Skelton, Priscilla Brewer and Vickie Bailey.
