She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Cleo Summey; her parents, Henry Jackson Quarles and Doris Gillespie Quarles; and her brother Glenn Quarles. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Summey of West Union, Jeremiah Summey of Westminster and Melissa Wilson (Calvin) of Salem; her granddaughters, Jasmin Wilson, Sophia Summey and Gabriella Summey; and her sisters, Helen Queen of Coleman, NC, Sue Kirby of West Union, Vivian Kirby of Walhalla and Diane Quarles of Seneca.
