He was predeceased by: his parents, James Benjamin Sanders, Jr. and Eleanor Fricks Sanders; and his sister Carol Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Peebles Lee; his children, James B. Sanders, IV (Maria) of New York, Kim Abbott of Seneca and Jacqueline Sanders of New York; his siblings, Milton Sanders (Tracy) of West Union and Becky Manley (Jim) of Walhalla; and his stepson Mark Osbourne of Seneca. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
