He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Nicholson and Louise Heaton Sims; his grandmother Odessa Heaton; and his brother Broadus Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Leopard Nicholson; his children, Guery "Nick" Nicholson, Jr. (April) of Moore, SC and Kimberly Arnold (Donnie) of Newry, SC; and his granddaughters, Anna, Addie Nicholson and Erika White.
