He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Westphal McGowan of Residences; his parents, John Jereb and Ercel Hillhouse Jereb; and his sister Shirley Golding. He is survived by: his son Michael McGowan (Eva) of Tamassee; and his grandsons, Matthew McGowan (Erin) and Daniel McGowan (Tara). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
