He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Belle Collins and Audie Nichols; and his siblings, William Audie Nichols Jr., Geneva Nichols Gillespie, Thomas Nichols and Jerome Nichols.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ellen McDonald of Rockingham and Barbara Lanning of Salem; his wife Janet Nichols; his children, Sandra Thompson (Phil) of Dalton, GA, Cathy Addis (Jerry) of West Union, SC and Reggie Miller (Carol) of Havana, FL.; his grandchildren, Matthew Stone (Casey), Brent Stone, William Thompson and Jayden Addis; and also, Stevie, Brock Holland, Sandy and Annie Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made in Nick's name to Walhalla Baptist Church Building Fund, Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund (Lakemont, GA), or Hospice of the Foothills.
