He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Burdette and Maudie Mae Richardson Burdette; and his siblings, Carl Burdette, Ray Burdette, Guy Burdette, Louise Campbell and Ella Mae Burnette.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Gibby Burdette; and his children, Dewayne Burdette of Walhalla, Steve Burdette (Stephanie) of Salem, Debbie Graham (Donnie Holden) of West Union and Shirley Cox of Greenville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
