She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Calvin; and her brothers, Thomas C. Lynch and Lewis Lynch. She is survived by: her husband Robert Albert Buchanan, Sr.; her children, Susan Sims (Richard), Robert A. Buchanan, Jr. (Joy) and James R. Buchanan (Leigh); and her sister Catherine Pack. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
