It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Eugene Rush Jr. of West Union, South Carolina, born in Jackson, Georgia, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Eugene and Nellie Ruth Smith Rush; and his close friend Maud Simmons. He is survived by: his son Michael Eugene Rush of Georgia; and his friend Mark Waters.
