He is survived by: his spouse Fay Harper Carey of West Columbia; his daughter Renee Shealy (Mark); his grandson Travis Carey Blackwell (Kim); his great grandchildren, Madelyn Crapps (Bryan Matthews), Evan Crapps (Lillie Hallman), Briceton Graber, Sadie Farrell Blackwell and Dallas Henry Blackwell; his great great grandchildren, Teal and Pressley Crapps; his son-in-law Ronnie Blackwell (Ann); and his sister JoAva Norungolo of Spartanburg, SC.
