In the vast expanse of eternity, Wayne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wayne farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Shull and Ruth Harmon Corley; and his brother Webster Corley. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Lauren Kendall Corley of Columbia and Christopher Lawrence Corley (Sarah) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Lillian Madison and Alexander Shull Corley; his pet Lucy; his sister Katherine; and his close friend Billy Miller. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community (1 Still Hopes Dr, West Columbia, SC 29169). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eastminster Presbyterian Church (3200 Trenholm Rd, Columbia, SC 29204).
