It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Thomas Roof Sr. of West Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Roof and Ethel Hite Roof; his wife June Frick Roof; his son Tommy Roof; and his siblings, Thelma Roof "Nunny", Milbrum Bachman "Bootsie" and Marvin Roof.
He is survived by: his daughter Marie Lewis (Johnny); his daughter-in-law Dani Roof; his grandchildren, Wade Roof, III (Irina), Hamp Roof, Kasey Davis (Chasen), Anna Harrelson (Jonathan) and Michael Lewis (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Abby Grace, Burns Roof, Peyton, Collins Lewis, Landon Harrelson and Charleigh Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
