She was predeceased by: her mother Martha "Babe" Outlaw; her son Matthew Laval Spires; her brother Leslie "Les" Outlaw; her mother-in-law Dixie Smith; her stepmother Joanne Outlaw; and her grandparents, George Earl "Big Daddy", Letha "Big Mama" Outlaw and Claud.

She is survived by: her father Paul "Tar" Outlaw; her husband Marion "Pedro" Spires; her son Brad Marchant (Shelley); her siblings, Pattie Outlaw Beerman (John) and Rex Outlaw (Michelle); her siblings-in-law, Robin Outlaw, Marilyn Spires Shull, Mary Gayle Doyle (Grant) and Michael "Dicky" Spires (Nena); her stepsiblings, Cindy Prather (Jim), Ruth Kneece, Robert and Andy Kneece; her daughter-in-law Brooke Spires; her grandchildren, London Spires, Mallory, Toby Marchant, Cadence Collins, Kinsley, Mattox, Ryland and Pierce Spires; and also Kaley Hair. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family has asked memorials to be made to Dunn's Chapel, 281 Chapel Road, West Columbia, SC 29172.
