He was predeceased by: his parents, Pope Wilson Shealy and Ollie Mae Dickert Shealy; his son Gregory Scott Shealy; his siblings, Esther Bickley (Henry), Lessie Corley (Henry), Linda Bedenbaugh (Bill), James Shealy, Henry Shealy and Edward Shealy (Doris); and his brother-in-law Lanier Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Tim (Charleane) and Kim Hodge (Robbie); his grandchildren, Kristin Whittle (Cameron Cook), Colby Hodge and Simon Johnson (Collin); his great grandchildren, Conrad Hodge and Emerie Cook; and his siblings, John Wendell Shealy (Cindy) and Shirley Cook.
