Though Richard Castles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Castles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Franklin Sharpe Sr. and Margie Castles Sharpe. He is survived by: his daughter Mirrel Castles Sharpe; his brothers, John Phillip Sharpe and Wilbur Franklin Sharpe Jr. (Marilee); and his pet Chuck. He is also survived by many nieces, grand nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel (820 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
