He is survived by: his wife Julie Underwood; his children, Amber Bryant (Stan), Matt Underwood (Crystal), Ashley Underwood of Columbus, Darcy Hollingsworth (Chris), Todd Sherer (Bianca) of West Columbia, SC and Carrie Balda-Sherer (Jacob) of Boone, NC; his grandchildren, Kayla Otey, Tyler Otey, Sebastian Underwood, Payton Cole, Madelyn Giles, Catherine Hollingsworth and Christopher Hollingsworth; his parents, Alta Vance and Gary Vance; his brother Mike Underwood (Jenny); and his in-laws, Duke and Judy Singleton.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (2003 Charleston Hwy, Cayce, SC 29033).
