With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Thomas Hesse of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Allegany, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Hesse and Elizabeth M. Hesse. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Palmer Hesse of West Columbia; his daughters, Shannon of Navarre, FL and Bianca of West Columbia; his siblings, Joan Hesse of Vero Beach, FL, Margaret Nuss (Thomas) of Allegany and William Hesse of Vero Beach, FL; his brother-in-law Gary Sirianni of Olean, NY; his niece Sarah Maxwell (Sean); his great-niece Hazel; his aunt Mary Bea Lennon of Vero Beach, FL; and his siblings, Joseph, John L. Hesse and Mary Sirianni. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, & nephews.

Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Allegany Historical Association, or a charity of choice.
