Melinda M. Frye Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda M. Frye of West Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Marion Wade Frye Sr.; her sister Jodie Frye; her cousin Ashley McCormick; her grandmother Barbara Watts; her friends, Heatherleigh McLain and Amanda Peake; and the father of her children Ian Kevin Spire.

She is survived by: her children, Shane Spire, Kayla Spire and Destini Douglas; her granddaughter Elsie Spire; her brothers, Wade Jr., Jonathan, Austin, Nicholas and Marcus Frye; and her father Stephen B. Cheek. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
