She is survived by: her children, Ted Mills, Jr. (Jamie) of Columbia, Patricia Zeigler (Carl) of Elloree, Gerald Mills (Phyllis) of Branchville and Diane Bradley (Bill) of Abilene, Texas; and her sisters, June Wilbanks of Lexington and Tarzie Backman of Norway. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that donations be made in Maude's loving memory to one of the following charities: Mission Columbia Program by Northside Baptist Church, 4347 Sunset Boulevard, Lexington, SC 29072;.
