She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Vance Haltiwanger and Ollie Mae Buff Haltiwanger; her husband Ronald LeRoy Slice; and her sisters, Helen H. Terrapin, Juanita H. Linton and Georgie H. Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Hope Fowler Carter (Chandler) of Mt. Pleasant and Vance Fowler of West Columbia; her stepdaughters, Terri S. Bickley (Roger) of Chapin, Diane S. Gillespie of Columbia and Joanne S. Wactor of Columbia; and her caregivers, Laraine, Geraldine Alston, Iesha Ike, Osaro Sainyo, Twanian Mathis and Beth McCrary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Stephens Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice.
