He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Vernelle and Lindy Cannon. He is survived by: his parents, John Estus Lucas, Sr. and Sylvia Crumpton Lucas; his wife Tammy W. Lucas; his children, John E. Lucas, III of Lexington and Kristin E. Lucas of West Columbia; his siblings, Ann Tatum (Jack) of West Columbia and Kenny Lucas (Keli) of Lexington; and his nephew Kody Tatum of North Carolina.
