James R. Rucker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Rucker of West Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewie Rucker and Meredith Wolfe Rucker. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lane; his children, James Dean Rucker (Tracey) and Ginger Lane Weaver (Darwin); his brothers, Charles Rucker (Jena), Bruce Rucker (Becky) and Robin Rucker (Kristy); his grandchildren, Ariel Lane Williams (Scott), James Hunter Rucker (Ty), Dargan James Weaver (Samantha Black), Brain Laird and Krysta Crooks (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Edan Lane Williams, Braylynn, Waylon Rucker, Gavin, Gracen Crooks and Gabriel Laird.

Donations may be made to the Parkinson's Research Foundation or Whaley Street United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
