We bid farewell to James Donahue (West Columbia, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 17, 2025 at the age of 70. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Donohue and Helen Wells Donohue. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cooper Donahue; his children, Margaret (Meg), Halloran (Banks) of Atlanta and Georgia; and his grandchildren, Thor, Wells, Rhage and Aries.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service (914 Meeting St, West Columbia, SC 29169). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29201).
