Gloria Spires Cook Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Spires Cook of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Sue Porth and Wesley Wilbur Spires; her brother Wesley Jerome Spires; and her grandson Justin Michael Whitehurst. She is survived by: her niece Jeri Spires; her son Timothy Lee Whitehurst (Leslie); her grandsons, Matthew Lee Whitehurst (Emily) and Johnathon Reed McLaurin; her great grandchild Crawford Lee Whitehurst; her siblings, Betty McWhorter, Patsy Amick (Harvey), Nell McCarty (Norman) and Roger Spires (Kitty); and her sister-in-law Louise Spires Parker.
