It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Hourihan of West Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Gerald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gerald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Ruth; his sister Winnie Crain; and his son Larry Hourihan. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hourihan; his sons, Brandon Hourihan and Wayne Hourihan; and his brother Joseph Hourihan.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Southland Memorial Gardens (700 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170).
