It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Joel Edwards of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edwards and Sarah Edwards; his wife Dianna Lucas Edwards; his siblings, Harold Ransom Edwards, Jr., Robert Stephen Edwards and Sylvia Jean Edwards; and his niece Laura Elizabeth Koon.

He is survived by: his son Christopher Scott Edwards of Blythewood, SC; and his daughter-in-law Marilyn Fox Edwards.
