She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Wiggins, Jr. and Virginia Louise Slaughter Wiggins; her husband Harold D. Purgason; her children, Sonia R. Neal and Stephen H. Ray; her sister Ellen W. Ward; and her nephews, William Warren Wiggins and Kenneth Gregory Ward.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ashley Neal Pritchard (Travis Pritchard) of Lexington, Stephanie M. Neal of Gilbert, Eric M. Ray of Spokane, Bret M. Ray of West Columbia and Noah S. Ray of Elgin; her nieces, Kimberly Black of Lexington and Leah Ward of Neeses; her nephew William Lester Ward of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Jayden Stuart Ray, Brayden John Neal, Nathaniel Ray and Aubrie Mae Pritchard; and her pets, B. B., B. J. and Smokey.
