He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Horace and Myrtle Risinger Eargle; his wife Violet Bouknight Eargle; and his sisters, Joyce Adams and Betty Wheatley.
He is survived by: his close friend Bertie Bryant; his nephew Andrew Wheatley (Serena); and his nieces, Donna Dooley (Rodney) and Gina Powell (David).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church, West Columbia or State Street Baptist Church in Cayce.
