He was predeceased by: his father Donald E. Thornton, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Ola Anne Jones Thornton; his sons, W. Blaine Thornton of Greenville and Joshua O. Thornton of West Columbia; his sisters, Donna Ann Thornton of West Columbia and Jennifer Thornton Boltinhouse (Doug) of West Columbia; and his grandchildren, Rowan Lee Thornton and Kaylee B. Thornton.
