The passing of Cheryl Martin of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Franklin, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Burton and Kay Burton (Jack); her husband Bobby Martin; and her brothers, Terry and Larry Burton.

She is survived by: her daughter Chrissy Chavis (Brad); her grandchildren, Kyle and Cooper Chavis; her brother Michael Burton (Henrietta Duncan); her nieces and nephews, Stephen Burton (Matthew May), Larry Burton (Danielle), Kelly Webb (Mike), Erica Cagle (Gabe) and Tara Spelts (Robert); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bentley Webb, Connor May, Maria Cagle, Zack Burton, Gentry Spelts and Berkley Spelts. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caughman Harman Funeral Home – West Columbia Chapel (820 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
