It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda S. Whitten of West Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Chase and Ruby L. Bradley; her husband Bobby D. Whitten; her son Marshall Dinkins; her great grandchild Rainney; and her brother Danny Chase.

She is survived by: her children, Tereasa Smith (John), Charles Dinkins, Sr. (Robin) and Donald Chase (Carol); and her siblings, Jimmy, David Chase, Kathy Hanchett and Deborah Hall. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
