He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Wall; and his parents, John Cade and Vivian Cade. He is survived by: his spouse Bari Lynn Roberts Cade; his grandchild Kyler Lester; and his sister Emily Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
