She is survived by: her father Larry Heaps; her husband John Douglas; her children, Dalton, Makinsey Workman, Nicole Schweder (Tyson) and Austin Workman (Ashley); her sister Melissa Peterson (Kevin); her grandchildren, Beckett Ackley, Vivian Schweder, Greyson, Avery and Olivia Workman; her niece Chloe Peterson; and her aunts, Juanita Whiteid, Evelyn Thoelcke (John) and Cheryl Lane. She is also survived by several cousins and many dear friends.
A reception was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063).
