Wendell T. Barton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendell T. Barton of Wellford, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis F. Barton and Ella Johnson Barton; and his siblings, Jean Wofford, Betty Revan and Bobby Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Rhodes Barton; his children, Jeffrey T. Barton and Wende B. Conrad (David); his grandchildren, Megan Heskett, Patricia Mitchell (Stephen), Emily Ullman, Isabelle Conrad, Sophie Conrad, Miranda Barton and Geoffrey Barton; and his great grandchildren, Mark Mitchell, Sutton Heskett, Liam Mitchell, Blaire Heskett, Koen Mitchell and Laurelei Mitchell.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Petty Funeral Home (124 S 562, Landrum, SC 29356).
