He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Daniels and Dora Mae Daniels; his son Randall Daniels; his sister Elizabeth Daniels; his grandson Damian McMillian, Jr.; his siblings, Evalene Hill (Calvin), Johnny Jones, Curtis Jones (Evon) and Dr. Robert Jones of Greer, SC; his brother-in-law David Reid, Jr. (Annette); and his pet Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Daniels; his children, Dr. Omar Daniels of Spartanburg, SC and Detra Daniels of Glen Burnie, MD; his grandchildren, Omara Lewis (London) of Spartanburg, SC, Omar Daniels II of Clemson, SC, Omarion "Gabe" Daniels of Spartanburg, SC, Damiya and Myia McMillian of Wellford, SC; his children, Lakeitra McMillian (Damian), Donna Moss (Harry), Brittney Murphy and Ariana Hughes; his siblings, Carolyn Jones of Greer, SC, Dr. Troy Daniels of Killeen, TX and Rev. Jerry Jones (Lou) of Spartanburg; his siblings-in-law, Diane Martin (Ray), Magdalene Ratcliff, Rev. Ralph Reid (Ondrea) and Roy Reid; and his godchildren, Sinita Irby (Al) and Adia Herbert.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. (927 E Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the New Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery (1130 Old Spartanburg Hwy, Lyman, SC 29365).
