She was predeceased by: her siblings, Samuel Johnson, Estelle Frazier, Willie Mae Singleton and Rosa Mae Bolden. She is survived by: her sons, Richard II Gavin (Carolyn) of Wedgefield, SC and Brandon Franklin (Kearston) of Orangeburg, SC; her stepchildren, Sharon Williams (Joseph) of Queens and Herbert Davis of Dalzell, SC; her siblings, Amelia Dawson of Charlotte, NC and Charlie Choice, Jr. (Sheila) of Sumter, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Wigfall (Johnny), Ida Lee, Nathaniel, Johnny Gavin (Idell) of Columbia, SC and William Gavin (Rebecca) of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
