He was predeceased by: his parents, Glendon Watson and Pauline Young Watson; and his siblings, Glen Watson and Anita Teague. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Melton Watson; his children, William Glen Watson of Matthews, NC, Christopher Michael Watson (Heather Nicole) of Monroe, NC and Jennifer April Basden (James) of Waxhaw, NC; his brother Marcus Watson (Michelle) of Guthrie, OK; his grandchildren, Jake Watson, Charlotte Watson, Emma Watson, Austin Watson, Annabelle Watson, Amelia Watson, Jenna Basden and J. T. Basden; and his sister-in-law Peggy White of Mechanic Falls, ME. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
