He is survived by: his wife Joan W. Burnette of Waterloo, SC; his children, Michael L. Wagner, Jr. of Lusby, MD, Cheryl Houchen (Steve) of Lusby, MD, Mark Wagner (Genny) of Greenwood, SC, Michelle Moore (Rick) of Brandywine, MD and Lorraine Davis (late Jim) of Lusby, MD; his stepson Phillip Malpass; and his grandchildren, Tina Garner, Angie Kazimer, Mark Wagner, Jr., Lori Krotendofer, Bliss Cain and Shannon Howell. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
