She was predeceased by: her spouse Keith Broome; and her sister Elsie Westlake. She is survived by: her children, Ken Broome of Waterloo, Laurie Sachs and Peter Sachs of St. Thomas; her grandchildren, Brandon, Daniel, Ashley, Jake, Taylor, Peyton and Amelia; her great grandchildren, Tarrah and Maddy; and her siblings, Thelma Simmons of Calgary and Richard Simmons of Calgary.
