He was predeceased by: his father Buddy; his son Michael McAllister; and his brother Moe McAllister. He is survived by: his children, James "Roger" McAllister (Diane) of Greenwood, Jason McAllister of Greenwood, Randy McAllister of Little River, SC, Jennifer McAllister of Cherry Grove, SC and Janet Manley (Marshall) of Laurens. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
