Jerry Phillips Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, Jerry Phillips of Waterloo, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jerry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jerry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phillips and Doris Abercrombie Rice. He is survived by: his children, Billy Phillips of Waterloo and Julie P Burgess; his siblings, David Rice of Ware Shoals, Jackie Howard of Greenville, Linda Bennett of Hickory Tavern, Kitty Ball of Liberty and Sherry Cash of Liberty; and his grandsons, Scott Smothers, Justin Phillips, Michael Phillips and Brandon Fowler. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Place Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church (6608 River Fork Rd, Waterloo, SC 29384).
