He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis William Butler, Jr. and Ruby Pressley Butler; his daughter Freda Loree Butler; his brother Wayne Butler; and his sister-in-law Carol Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Satterfield Butler; his children, Louis "Little Billy" Butler and Chasity Butler; his grandchild Darron "D. J." Butler; his children, Tristin Butler, Summer Butler, Jessica Butler, Elizabeth Marlene "Marlee" Butler, Matthew Butler and Destiny Butler; and his brother Jerry Butler (Anita).
