She was predeceased by: her husband Edward B. Whisenant; and her parents, Lila Mae Sawyer Enlow and Price V. Enlow. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Whisenant (Ruth), Steve Whisenant (Kathy), Mike Whisenant (Sharye) and Jody Whisenant (Grace); and her siblings, Vernon Enlow, Chester Enlow, Dorothy Kitchens and Betty Hartley. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
