He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Brabham Proctor; his parents, Ernest Proctor and Christine Newton Proctor; and his brothers, Elton and Bobby Proctor.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra (Robert Jones) and Steve (Monica Proctor); his grandchildren, Angie Jones, Bryan Jones (Heather) and Terri Proctor; his great grandchildren, Stephanie, Westin and Elijah; his sister Ernestine Taylor; and also, Shelby Proctor and Shirley Johnson.
