She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Preston and Curtie Roberts Gay; her husband Earl Francis Gallett; and her siblings, Jimmy Gay of Bradenton, FL, Shelby "Steve" Gay of Lubbock, TX and Jackie Gay Lawson of Aiken, SC..
She is survived by: her children, Alvis "Matt" Fail, III (Kimberly) of Wilmington, NC and Kirsten Palmer (Steven) of Sumter, SC; her siblings, Randy Gay of Aiken, SC and Barbara Duffy of Evans, GA; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Jeremy and Jessica Palmer.
