He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyman Abney and Evelyn Knight Abney; and his brother Benny. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brailynn and Brice Abney; his children, Mike Abney (Brooke) of Aiken, SC and Diane Abney of Aiken, SC; and his siblings, Doris Shealy (Calvin) of Graniteville, SC, Donnie and Elliott Abney. He is also survived by his parents and grandchildren, family members.
