She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Joe and Elizabeth Page Hinton; and her siblings, Dale Hinton, Joey Hinton, Stanley Hinton and JoAnn Hinton Strickland.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Robert Smerdon; her children, Brandon Cothran of Ware Shoals and Erin Davis Gonce (Matthew) of Greenwood; her half-sister Kelly Koon of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Landon, Vera and Jett.
