It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wood (Ware Shoals, South Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl Wood and Kathleen Armstrong Wood Webb; and his brothers, Terry Wood and Tim Wood. He is survived by: his spouse Carolinda "Lindy" Stuck Wood; his son Benjamin Alan Wood, Sr. (Amanda) of Ware Shoals; his siblings, Joe Wood, Jr. (Brenda) of Ware Shoals, Roger Wood (Patty) of Ware Shoals, Judy Ridgeway (Dan) of Ware Shoals, Joyce Wood Davis of Ware Shoals and Jane Carnell (Marion Ray) of Ware Shoals; his grandsons, Alan Wood, Jr. and James; and his great grandchild Braylin Wood.

Masks and social distancing are recommended.

In Lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 242 Mt. Bethel Road, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
