She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Painter and Willie Louise Phillips Painter; and her siblings, Charles Daniel "Danny" Painter, Jr. and Joann Durham. She is survived by: her husband Dexter Jeter, II of Dairy Street; her children, Eddie Walling (Amber) of Greenville and Cindy McCarty (Buster) of Chappells; her sister Kathy Mays of Greenville; her grandchildren, Courtney McKenzie, B. J. McCarty, Cory Walling, Alex McCarty and Blake McCarty; her niece Ashley Martinez (Junior); and her great-niece Gaby.
